GLB Quarrying & Logistics Pty Ltd, part of Byrne Group, has access to a number of quarries with gravel and sand located around Queensland to service all project requirements. GLB produces high quality Road Base material, RSS Wall material, Aggregates and Sub Bases for road, civil and site work. GLB has the environment in mind and is committed to minimising damage caused to it by our services.
Over the past two years GLB has been one of the major suppliers to some of the larger infrastructure jobs around Brisbane, supplying over 200,000 tonne of 75mm aggregate and over 100,000 tonne of structural material to the Airport Link Road. On one of the larger jobs GLB managed a fleet of over 95 Truck and Dogs!
GLB has supplied in excess of 700,000t of the RSS Wall Material to the Logan Motorway Ipswich Road Interchange and SafeLink Alliance project 24 hours a day and has an ongoing project at the Byerwen Quarry with QR Nationals GAP Project (Goonyella to Mackay) supplying all material for railway formation on the Coal Connect Project, producing and supplying up to 1,600,000 tonne of high specification ballast and roadbase material for Qld Rail.
GLB can offer a large range of trucks and machinery at a contract rate or hourly rate to meet the project requirements having compliment of trucks & dogs, side tippers, semi-tippers, and tandems ready at hand.
With the environment in mind, the Byrne Group aims to increase the volume of materials that are recycled from demolition sites and deep excavations. We produce Aggregate, Road Base and Structural Fill enabling GLB to offer these materials well under most budgeted costs.

Project delivery has been via direct GLB/Owner Contracts as well as by GLB on a subcontractor basis to major alliance projects and other substantial works, including civil/site works for commercial and general building construction.
